Stand-up paddleboard yoga (or SUP Yoga) is the practice of movement, breath, and focus on a mat...that's on a board...that's on the water! There are many fun, challenging, and rewarding aspects of this workout designed for novice and experienced yogis alike.
SUP Yoga gives you the chance to unwind and be at peace on the water. You'll use your body, breath, and focus in ways that may be new to you. You'll walk away feeling refreshed and invigorated. And you'll love the end of the practice where we lay on the board in Shavasana and listen to the peaceful sounds of the bay!
You'll learn how to safely practice yoga on a paddle board and also learn how to paddle board! And if you fall, you'll enjoy the fun of falling in the water, cooling off, and getting up and trying again!
Whether or not you already practice yoga, this practice takes your fitness and yoga practice to the next level! You will be present in your postures, your core will be constantly engaged, and your breath and your gaze will be purposeful! SUP Yoga is breath, movement, and meditation in peaceful harmony with the water!
